Woodstock Parks and Rec Earns National Reaccreditation for Service Excellence
CAPRA reaccreditation reaffirms the department’s ongoing commitment to top-tier community care
Woodstock’s Parks and Recreation Department has done it again! After a thorough review, they’ve earned national reaccreditation from the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies (CAPRA), marking their continued commitment to delivering first-class service to the community. This reaccreditation places Woodstock among an elite group of parks departments across the country recognized for meeting the industry’s highest standards.
The department first achieved this prestigious recognition five years ago, and this latest reaccreditation proves they’re not just maintaining excellence—they’re pushing the envelope to keep improving. Meeting 154 rigorous standards, Woodstock Parks and Rec ensures that our beloved parks, programs, and facilities are safe, inclusive, and built to enhance the lives of residents.
Mayor Michael Caldwell praised the department’s dedication, noting that this reaccreditation is proof of the hard work and passion that goes into maintaining Woodstock’s parks and recreational programs. For the residents, it’s a sign that they’ll continue to enjoy quality facilities and engaging events for years to come.
